Welcome to Shaw's.
Shaw’s Restaurant & Bar is owned and managed by Jonny Bingham and Ash Childs. As you can see from our menu, it features a wide range of dishes made from fresh and local ingredients. Shaw’s Building was built in 1906 as a textile factory, which ran until 1999. The Restaurant and Bar opened in the same year and have subsequently become a favourite rendezvous with its regular clientele, enjoying good food and wine in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
We are delighted to be able to welcome you to our restaurant and bar, where you can eat and drink in a relaxed and comfortable setting. We offer modern British food using the best of local produce.
We are open Monday to Saturday from 10am to 1am.
Sundays we are open from 12pm to 5pm serving breakfast and a great Sunday lunch, click here for the menu.
We serve breakfast from 10am until 12pm. Lunch is served in the bar from 12pm and dinner from 6pm. Money is tight, we all know this, to help we've brought back our keenly priced set menu and introduced an Early Bird menu.
As a family run business, we welcome children of all ages.
Live music every Friday and Saturday! See our special events page for details. You don't have to book but do arrive early for a table. We have a great Tapas menu available in the bar to accompany your drinks. We are open until 1am Friday and Saturday.
